Can angelfish be like discus in that they can take a while to start eating when put in a tank ?
Less so in my experience Matt. But then I get mine from David lai who preps them superbly. Like any new fish acclimatising I would look to water param differences, then food differences and if both of these are are fine you are left with either a tank grouping issue or a possible infection.
Matt what is a half wild angel ?? I personaly think that all fish should be eating within 24hrs ....IF you are feeding the same as the supplier fed and water conditions are the same.
I have just bought 5 Altums for £100 all about 4" mark
Matt are these the ones marked up as RO Angels
I was told they are half wild Peruvian and half domestic. They are nice looking fish. Have a group of 8, just not eating great, they took live brine shrimp today with confidence. But not great with flake or prima, water is ro hma mix. No john not those fish but did see them, I thought they weren't to bad.
Was going to learn a bit more about keeping angels with these guys then get altums next year. One thing I have noticed they are swimming up and down the glass a lot ??
