Seachem prime

    does anyone use prime in their discus tanks ? Or is an hma filter better ? Thanks for any help, I’ve not even set my tank up yet !

    a hma would be preferable, and if you are doing large regular water changes then hma will pay for itself soon enough.

    i however use prime.

    HMA removes chrorine,leads etc
    Seachem prime only binds them , HMA is better :thumbup:

    i use HMA with a small dose of Prime before water change just in case (OCD)
