Hi guys anyone use a Yamitsu algae master UV?
I used to use one on a koi pond (55w version). Had no problems, it was good kit.
cheers Jay much appreciated, the general feeling from reading things on google was they were good UVs just wanted some first hand experience i suppose
No probs. Most of my Koi gear was Yamitsu. It wasn't fancy kit (which isn't a bad thing), but seemed well built and easy to maintain (good on price too). It was a few years ago mind you. Main thing was it never broke and did it's job.
Ihave the yamitsu lp50 air pump and its brilliant, so thought id stick with them
Hi James, I have had a 30 watt on my Koi pond for almost 10 years now, cant fault it mate. Every now and then I have to replace the connectors to the uv light, as they go brittle, and break up, however replacement is easy, and cheap to replace. So yes a perfect choice IMO
Cheers man am gonna go ahead and get one and see if it makes a difference
